Reflection of Food Journal II & III

First of all, I have significantly increased the number of times I eat in at home instead of eating on campus or at a restaurant, so that is a pretty good start. I have also started preparing sushi rice ahead and froze them to store them. Whenever I need to make a quick lunch box, I'll defrost them, add the rice ball seasoning, wrap it up and good to go!

I have also finally finished the big batch of potato salad that I made. Probably will make one again when feel like having potato salad. I have also noticed my body does get leaner a bit now and my appetite isn't as big as before. I eat how much my body need instead of how much I want to eat.

You may see a lot of hot pockets in my breakfast and some hot dogs for dinner. The reasons for eating hot pockets in the morning is because I am usually in a rush to head out to work. Sometimes, I even eat it while walking to work. My cooking instructor talked to me and wanted me to look at the cruel reality--the nutrition facts of the hot pockets I am having:
Doesn't seem too bad to me....okay, it is bad.....Well, I am going to take in her advice and try not to buy anymore hot pockets after finishing up all I have now. Hot pockets, you will be missed.
As for hot dogs, it is because I have frozen hot dogs buns that I need to get rid of and I don't want to just throw them away. Three more hot dogs and I am done.

One of my friends told me that it is better to drink fruits smoothie in the morning than in the night because it contains a lot of sugar. It will be better for my body to digest and burn off the sugar if I drink it earlier in the day. Did some quick research and found that her words were true. Guess I'll have to change my end of day reward fruits smoothie into the sweet start of day fruits smoothie.
